Refund policy
Returns
Most Items, including Silk Rose Petals and Organza Bags (excludes Freeze Dried Rose Petals): A Return Authorization number must be requested by email within 14 days from the date of delivery (replying to your order confirmation is highly recommended). We must receive the rose petals at our 219 Corporate Drive address, unopened and in their original packaging, within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price less a 20% restocking charge. Your refund will be reduced by any coupon and/or discount used, and if a free shipping offer was used, the cost of shipping will be applied. You can exchange for other items of equal or greater value with no restocking charge. Shipping charges are not refunded. Returns or Exchanges are not accepted after the event date nor for samples.
Freeze Dried Rose Petals: A Return Authorization number must be requested by email within 14 days from the date of delivery. We must receive the rose petals at our 219 Corporate Drive address, unopened and in their original packaging, within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price less a restocking charge of 20% to 50%. The restocking charge depends on the condition of the return as these petals are custom packaged when ordered and are fragile and perishable, most returns can only be resold as our discounted Pathway Petals. Shipping charges are not refunded. Petal Garden is not responsible for delays in transit. Returns are not accepted after the event date or on samples.
Canceling a Freeze Dried order prior to shipping: We understand that your plans may change. If you placed an order for our freeze dried rose petals that has an advance shipping date, you can cancel your order prior to shipping. If your order has a shipping date scheduled, but does not have a tracking number assigned, you may cancel and receive a refund less a $5 processing charge.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned after the return period.
Refund process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Refunds are generally issued within 14 days of receipt of your return.
Late or missing refunds
If you've been notified that we've processed the refund and you haven’t received a it yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shop@petalgarden.com.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
Items may be exchanged using the return policy above, with the restocking charge waived if exchanging for equal or greater value and if the returned items are in their original unopened packaging and are resellable. If you've received freeze dried rose petals and want to exchange, time is of the essence as they are fragile and semi-perishable and may incur a restocking charge based on their condition upon return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
