While every week we are shipping late minute orders, placing your order in advance is highly recommended. It's best to order at least 3 months in advance so we can be sure to have the color and quantity you need, and we will ship at the appropriate time. You simply select the Based on Event Date shipping option and we'll handle the rest. We've been doing this for over 20 years, so we know how to provide the absolute best quality with the least amount of stress on your end. If you have any special requirements, such as leaving early for a destination wedding, just include that in the comments on checkout and we will factor it in when scheduling shipping.

Can you still order petals mere days before your wedding? Sure, but why pay extra just for shipping when our petals are designed to last for months, plus have the stress of worrying about a delay in shipping. Every week, however, we come through for last minute customers because we also know how to get an order to you quickly. In fact, we are intentionally located just a minute down the road from our local FedEx Express station.

No, that's the best part! They are best stored at room temperature in a dark, dry location.

Yes, you can create your own custom blend! Every order of freeze dried rose petals is custom packaged just prior to shipping, so you are free to select the colors you want for the perfect blend that's all your own.

To make your choice from our entire selection of colors, including dyed colors, you can order from our Specialty Blends.  

When we reference "cups", it refers to the volume in measuring cups. The petals are not packaged in individual measuring cups. We package our freeze dried rose petals in sealed plastic bags containing up to 100 cups per bag, depending on the quantity ordered.

If you are using the petals for a toss, we have organza bags available so you can package them into individual sizes for each guest to use.

Our freeze dried rose petals are not certified organic. In fact, you will not likely find any USDA Certified Organic cut roses, but please let us know if you do! Since roses are grown for their beauty and not to be eaten, there is not a market for commercial organic cut roses. We do, however, have a few options.

If you are looking to use rose petals as an ingredient, we do have Organic Dried Rose Petals :

These are air dried and don't have the beauty of the freeze dried, but as an ingredient in tea, baking, etc., these are ideal.

If you are looking for whole, beautiful petals to be consumed or used with food, here is our take on it. Rose petals themselves are considered edible, we've eaten them here and fed them to pets (rabbits love them). With our Premium rose petals, we remove the outer guard petals as they go into our Pathway selection, so anything sprayed on them would mostly have been on those petals. The farms we source our roses from work to ensure minimal use of pesticides, and some of our petals have passed California testing standards for use in cannabis wraps. We recommend you use your best judgment in how you plan to use the petals.

We ship orders Monday through Friday (and sometimes on Saturday, too), so it all depends on when you need your order and what shipping method you choose. Simply add the items to the cart and you will see your shipping cost along with delivery estimates. Urgent orders can be shipped out the same day if placed by 4pm Eastern time on weekdays.

Yes, we can ship just about anywhere in the world! Once you add items to the cart, you can enter your shipping location to get a quote. If you are purchasing freeze dried rose petals to ship within the US, but plan to travel with them, please let us know in the comments on checkout as we can include important customs information.

Since they are made of fabric, silk rose petals will last indefinitely. These are not real rose petals, but we make them look as real as possible.

No, you do not need to pull apart our silk rose petals. You may find many companies sell inferior rose petals that are sold in tight stacks of hundreds of petals stuck together. It literally takes hours to pull them apart one by one, and once they are apart, you'll find they are very thin and unrealistic. Our silk rose petals come separated and ready to use.
