Weekday Shipping cut-off:
3:30pm ET for UPS Ground, FedEx Home Delivery
5:30pm ET for FedEx/UPS Air (Overnight, 2nd Day, Express)
Orders placed after the cut-off ship on the next business day.
For the most accurate shipping costs and delivery times, simply add items to the online cart and click on "CHECK OUT." You don't have to complete the checkout, but if you enter your shipping address, it will display all available methods, rates, and delivery estimates. Please keep in mind the above cut-off times when determining the estimated delivery date. We have several FedEx and UPS shipping options available, as well as Standard shipping, which generally ships via the US Postal Service. You can see all your shipping options after adding items to the cart. While we will get your order out the door as soon as possible, please be aware it may not arrive as quickly as anticipated as carriers have ended their service guarantees on ground shipping. When selecting a shipping method, you should consider at least one extra day in transit as carriers have still been missing their delivery dates on some packages. Transit times and delivery dates are estimates only and subject to change, you should follow your tracking and contact the carrier if there are any delays. We are not able to provide refunds on shipping costs for shipments that arrive later than expected as FedEx and UPS have suspended their guaranteed delivery service.
We stock everything we sell in our upstate NY facility, so most orders for silk rose petals and organza bags are shipped within one business day! Freeze dried rose petals are NOT immediately shipped, they are scheduled based on your event date and are subject to availability. Since they are custom sorted and packaged by hand, urgent orders should be placed as soon as possible as daily cut-off times do not apply to orders of freeze dried.
You will see shipping options in your cart, but feel free to email info@petalgarden.com or call to determine your best option. Transit days are business days (Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays), and orders must be placed by 3:30pm Eastern Time weekdays for Ground/Home Delivery to ship the same day, or by 5:00pm for air shipping. For example, if you choose Overnight/Next Day on a Wednesday night, it will ship on Thursday, with delivery scheduled for Friday. See our chart below for the Express shipping option, based on our experience and current shipping estimates, and provided there are no major holidays during these days. Also, please keep in mind FedEx/UPS no longer guarantee their delivery dates, which are always subject to weather or unforeseen delays.

Shipping charges start at about $3.95 and are based on your zip code (or postal code), shipping method, and quantity ordered. To get a shipping quote, simply add the items to the online cart. You don't need to proceed to checkout nor enter any personal information to get the quote, just click on the Add to your Shopping Cart button. You can also obtain a quote for international shipments using this method.
Orders for freeze dried rose petals placed in advance are entered into our reservation system where we schedule a shipping date based on your occasion date and zip code. Your petals typically ship about 3 weeks before use for the best quality, while ordering in advance guarantees availability of your color and quantity. If you need them sooner or have any special requirements, please use the Special Instructions area on the Checkout page. You can expect freeze dried rose petals to arrive approximately 2 weeks prior to your event date.
Because we strive to ship orders as soon as possible, we are not able to cancel orders after they have been processed and a shipping label created. They can, however, be returned according to our return policy listed below. If we are able to retrieve your shipment prior to carrier pickup, we can refund the shipping and process a return less a 10% restocking charge to cover processing costs and shipping materials.
Transit times and policies are based on each carriers' published information available at their respective websites. Delays caused by acts of nature are not covered by any carriers' guarantee, therefore, any such delays are not eligible for shipping refunds. Also, since April 2020, FedEx has suspended their guaranteed transit times, so we are unable to provide a refund of shipping costs for any late deliveries.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Orders shipping internationally to Canada and other countries outside of the US may incur additional charges such as duties and other taxes (GST, PST, VAT etc) as determined by the recipient country. These charges are not included in your product and shipping costs, you will be responsible for payment to the carrier upon delivery if they apply. Please note that the Freeze Dried rose petals are a US origin product, while the Silk rose petals are made in China, this is important if you contact your customs office to determine duty. If you are unfamiliar with importing products, please contact your country's customs office for more details, many have websites which answer the most common questions.
